Dress The Joggers

It’s that time of the week, when Monday has come and gone (thankfully), but still not mid week where you can taste the weekend. Which gives plenty of time to step into something dressy yet casual. Todays look is built around one of my favorite pairs of army green joggers (GAP). I think joggers are one of those items that every male should have in his wardrobe. They are comfortable and sporty, but can also be paired with more formal pieces. Like the above tweed blazer (GAP). I live for tweed in the Winter months specifically when I don’t want to wear a jacket when hitting the city, but want to remain warm and look my best at the same time. Typically joggers are considered to be something you would wear in warmer months, but I’m not one to be limited by the seasons. And I am seeing more and more stores and boutiques that are carrying joggers in many styles, prints, and fabrics to cater to the seasons, to encourage wearing them year round. I also love LEOPARD, it just screams life of the party and is guaranteed to be a showstopper. Of course this look would not be complete without the nautical gray and blue american apparel (please don’t go) :(sweat shirt, which has become a staple piece in my wardrobe, and can be paired with just about anything. I have paired this shirt with everything from dark denim, to navy chinos, and now joggers. I also added a red bandana chocker (ASOS) to accessorize todays look. As we all know fashion is a repeating cycle, and most trends from earlier years resurface and are recycled and introduced to new generations, with the intent to SLAY! I love when I see men rocking their chokers with a fresh pair of loafers and a crisp blazer #wonthedoit! Enjoy your day and remember to dress your joggers! 😉
